“Using Blackshades, cybercriminals take over victims’ computers for spying and money-making purposes, experts say. Criminals also listen to victims through infected computer microphones, monitor users’ keystrokes and virtually rifle through personal documents and pictures.” –CNN
Authorities recently announced more than 90 arrests all over the world related to attacks which have infiltrated more than half a million computers.
According to CNN, there are confirmed cases of people whose webcams have been used by these hackers to take photos of victims inside their homes without their knowledge.
